Mama Bloom Postpartum group

*Mama Bloom 6-week In-Person Series Postpartum Group
Mama Bloom is a 6 week closed postpartum group for mamas with babies under 1 year old. After having a baby, you may feel overwhelmed, disoriented, and exhausted. There can be such high highs, where you feel more love and joy than you have ever felt before, and such low lows, you may feel isolated, unsure, and hungry for acknowledgement and support. You may wonder: Is this normal? Am I doing a good job? How do I take care of my baby and myself? Who can I talk to about this? These postpartum groups are designed to encourage you, connect you to a community, share useful information, and nurture you in the postpartum season. A wide range of pertinent topics is covered and each group is tailored based on their unique needs and questions. The groups are facilitated to be dynamic and co-created. Though we value knowledge, this is NOT a class. We know you don’t need more information that leaves you feeling overwhelmed. You need to feel seen, heard, confident, and less alone. That’s why we created these groups! Our intention is a group that is facilitated for deep connection and care of one another.

Follow us on Instagram: @mamabloomaustin

Babies are always welcome. Cost is $460 for the series.  Roughly 15 hours of group, resource referrals, group WhatsApp, + emails. (Payment plans + Scholarships available, priority to BIPOC)

Carry on warriors

Despite motherhood being an exciting and joyful time in our lives, women who carry a trauma history may unexpectedly find pregnancy, postpartum, and/or parenting to be a difficult time. This is a group for Moms that have survived trauma.

Moms Club

They have chapters all over and are determined by where you live. A favorite thing about MOMS Club is that no only is it about supporting one another but we also do service projects throughout the year that specifically benefit mothers and children in our community.

Any Baby Can -moms’ group!

a free weekly group for moms, babies, and siblings.

Partners in Parenting

Partners in Parenting is a non-profit organization offering peer support groups for all of Austin’s new parents!

PIP believes ALL new parents deserve a village of support to survive and thrive.

Their proven approach connects parents of babies and toddlers with peers, trained volunteer facilitators, and experts so they can share the joy and weather the storms of new parenthood together.

Most groups are offered in both English and Spanish. Offerings include:

  • PRENATAL – for expectant parents in their third trimester.
  • NEWBORN – for parents with infants (2-16 weeks)
  • BABY – for parents with babies (4-12 months)
  • TODDLER – for parents with toddlers (up to 3 years)
  • LGBTQIA+ – for LGBTQIA+ identifying parents (0-3 years).

Program Fees & Options

Option 1: Program Fee $210: We estimate that it will cost PIP $420 to serve a family in 2022. Our goal is to reduce the financial barrier to joining a PIP group and to continue providing free programming to families in need. In 2022, we are asking families that are able to cover a portion or all of the cost of the program fee to select this option.

Option 2: Registration Fee $49: We firmly believe every family needs PIP regardless of ability to pay the program fee. Our $49 option allows you to cover the cost of registration for you and your family.
