This class focuses on early parenting and care of the newborn. You’ll feel more well-prepared and know what to expect as a result of taking this class.
We will cover:
- surviving the first few weeks
- crying as communication
- how to calm baby
- bathing practices
- feeding practices
- swaddling
- diapering
- rest and sleep
This class is ideal for expectant parents and grandparents alike.
Our Newborn Care Class meets the requirements for most adoptions.
One day before the class, reminders are sent out to ensure everyone is aware of the upcoming session.
